Conflict management for farm helpers

Farm helpers of the Catholic Rural Association (Landvolk) are predominantly young people who are experts in their subject matter. They work on farms and in rural households, that find themselves in precarious situations, such as when a farm family member is sick or has passed away. Often the farm helpers are confronted with physical and psychological challenges. These are including communication shortcomings on both sides, because neither the farm helpers nor the family have learned to deal with conflicts effectively.

PACTeam accompanies these young people with annual trainings in communication and conflict management and with facilitated sharing of experience, that are offered several times a year. These trainings are based on the therapy ideas of Carl Rogers and the communication theory of Paul Watzlawick and Friedemann Schulz von Thun.
